Welcome to Long Beard Taxidermy. We are located in the heart of whitetail deer and wild turkey country in Pike County, Illinois known for producing some of the largest whitetail deer ever harvested in the Midwest.
Jeremy began his journey in entrepreneurship at the age of 24, with a big vision and big dreams. Jeremy acquired his first location in downtown Pittsfield, IL. A few years later he built his previous studio also in Pittsfield, IL, where he fine tuned his skills as an artist and business owner for over 20 years. Our new location was a move Jeremy set out to do since day one.
With this move into our new studio and home we will be transitioning into a more specialty taxidermy studio, combining 25 plus years of experience of running a commercial studio, along with the wealth of knowledge acquired over those 25 years in the taxidermy field.
The transition from a commercial production studio into a more streamlined specialty studio will allow us to spend ample time on each and every mount and also allow us to dive in deep on productivity and artistic design.
We believe in what we do so much it’s a way of life. Both Jeremy and Haylee have college degrees in business, with Jeremy also having one in wildlife biology with their combined experience they’re excited for this new transition.
We have taken in and mounted some of the most sought after game in the world from African Game, New Zealand Game, Alaskan Musk ox, Alaskan Brown Bear, Black Bear, Sheep, Rocky Mountain Elk, Alligator, along with a wide variety of game from all over the world.
