Long Beard Taxidermy is located in Pike County, Illinois known for producing some of the largest bucks ever harvested in the mid west. Long Beard Taxidermy has earned recognition from several hunting shows and magazines. This recognition put Pike County on the map and sent shockwaves across North America about hunting in Illinois. There are now thousands of people coming to Pike County every year for the sole purpose of hunting the whitetail deer and hopefully harvesting that buck of a lifetime.

Our Goal here at Long Beard Taxidermy is pleasing every customer that comes through our doors and also making every mount unique and different, no two mounts will ever look the same. When a client comes in we discuss what they want their mount to look like and then we discuss some different poses and possibilities. When they see the mounts and how creative we can be they usually tell us to what we think looks best. We also want to say if someone has a specific mount they want we never try to talk them out of it unless the specimen is in bad shape.
